Dr. Yassir Javaid

MA (Cantab) FRCP FRCGP PGDip Cardiology GPwSI Cardiology
  • Dr Javaid qualified from Cambridge University and completed his VTS training in Northampton.
  • He has a specialist interest in cardiology and echocardiography and was a clinical lead in the Northamptonshire Community Cardiology service, which had a focus on patients with heart failure and valve disease. He was also the primary care Cardiovascular lead for the East Midlands Clinical Network from 2013-2020.
  • He was named Pulse “GP of the Year” in 2015 for his work in reducing stroke emergency admissions in the East Midlands.
  • He is on the editorial board for the British Journal of Cardiology and a trustee of Heart Valve Voice.

Dr Mustafa Ibrahim

MBBS, PGCertMedEd, MRCGP
  • Dr. Ibrahim completed his medical school training in Sudan, earned his Medical Education Certificate from Wolverhampton University, and underwent GP training in the West Midlands.
  • Currently serving as a salaried GP in Wolverhampton, he is not only dedicated to his practice but also contributes globally.
  • Engaging in educational activities on social media, Dr. Ibrahim connects with GPs worldwide, sharing valuable insights and experiences. Beyond his clinical role, he holds key positions as a GMC Educational Associate, Training Program Director for Coventry and Warwickshire VTS, and a GP appraiser for NHSE and NHSI. His commitment to healthcare extends across borders.

Dr Roger Henderson

MBBS; LMSSA
  • Dr. Roger Henderson, a highly respected GP and media figure, was born in 1960 and raised in Cumbria. He qualified from St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London, in 1985 and became a GP in 1990.
  • Since entering the media in 1995, Dr. Henderson has been the medical columnist for the Sunday Times and is a prominent health broadcaster. He writes for many national publications, presents for GP Notebook, and co-hosts the popular dermatology podcasts Rash Decisions and Skin Deep.
  • He has served as the medical director for LIVA Healthcare and as global content creator for Healthwords.ai. With extensive experience as a senior partner of a large GP practice, Dr. Henderson now works as a sessional GP and is a judge at the national General Practice awards. He continues to deliver clinical education at various health conferences and online platforms globally.

Dr Kamran Ahmed

MBBS, MRCGP, MRCS
  • An experienced General Practitioner, holding the prestigious MRCGP (Member of the Royal College of General Practice), Dr. Ahmed has a rich background in the hospital and healthcare industry. His expertise spans Epidemiology, Emergency Medicine, Healthcare Management, and Healthcare Commissioning, with a keen focus on System Transformation.
  • In addition to his GP role, Dr. Ahmed brings surgical skills to the table, holding an MRCS (Member of the Royal College of Surgeons) and actively participating in minor surgery and aesthetics.
  • Beyond the medical realm, Dr. Ahmed’s diverse interests include boxing. He has contributed significantly as FOP Member/Lead at major events like London 2012, Glasgow 2014, and Birmingham 2022, along with involvement in numerous professional events in collaboration with the British Boxing Board of Control.
  • Dr. Ahmed is not just a healthcare professional but also a leader in service re-designs at both local and regional levels. Collaborating closely with clinical colleagues, he champions the integration of modern practices into primary and secondary care, making a lasting impact on healthcare delivery.
